Colourful crossings may look fun to some but we must consider everyone who uses the pedestrian environment.
The BWA 'ask': Work with ... equalities groups when developing schemes & making changes, including temporary changes, that impact on the pedestrian environment.

We will soon be launching our 50 Ways to Better Walking booklet, which includes:
Ensure key walking routes have sufficient visibility & ... oversight, & implement a citywide programme to replace existing pedestrian underpasses with street level crossings.
