On Saturday 15th October, as part of Healthy City Week, we hosted a ‘Walkable Neighbourhoods’ event. Forty individuals from across the city came together to discuss how we can make neighbourhoods in Bristol better for pedestrians. There were people attending from 11 of the 14 Neighbourhood Partnership areas, Bristol City Council, equalities groups, and voluntary and community organisations. We heard from guest speakers about current projects happening in the city and explored some of the current barriers for pedestrians along with possible solutions. A full report of the event can be found here.
Very good information.
