Bristol Walking Alliance is seeking a voluntary communications executive.
Walking is the most accessible and egalitarian form of transport there is – but it’s often ignored. Bristol Walking Alliance believes that walking can change the world, and we are working to make sure it’s no longer the forgotten form of transport.
We are looking for a volunteer with enthusiasm for our cause, and a flair for communicating to help us grow our supporters.
We don’t want to specify how much time you’ll be expected to give to this role, as that will be up to you. But ideally you’d be able to attend our Executive Group meetings and public meetings, both of which are two hour meetings held bi-monthly. We are looking for someone who either has experience of social media and writing content, or who has a flair for communication but doesn’t necessarily have professional experience and wants to develop their skills.
This role will be mentored by a communications professional who is part of Bristol Walking Alliance Executive, so is a great learning and development opportunity for the right person.
If you’re interested in the role, please contact Zoe Trinder-Widdess on zoe.trinder-widdess@bristol.ac.uk for a chat.
