Bristol City Council has made some proposals to improve the Denmark Street area (behind the Hippodrome) in Bristol city centre. These include closing some sections to motor traffic, improving crossings for pedestrians and improving public space with trees, planters and seating.
In our response to their consultation, BWA has generally welcomed the proposals and made some suggestions for how the improvements could go further.
