An early engagement consultation has taken place on the southern section of Concorde Way, which provides an active travel commuter route from Bristol city centre to the northern fringe, mainly off-road.
The consultation lists the suggestions that were included for this route in the Local Cycling and Walking Infrastructure Plan as a preliminary to drawing up more specific proposals for improvements.
BWA has submitted our comments. Our main concern is that the quality of the route is poor with many parts requiring shared use for walking and cycling within limited widths. We provide suggestions for improvements along each section of the route.
